August for Brands & Non-Profits

Brands and non-profits have been at the core of our business since August was launched ten-plus years ago. Our work with them has been based on a few simple values:

This starts with August’s principal, Ian Joyce. He’s a digital strategist and writer who is at the center of a creative collaborative that includes partners specializing in branding, design, programming and application development, and multimedia. This allows a lean approach to focused marketing requirements, while allowing August to quickly respond to larger challenges.

Our work includes a model social media program that powered 20% annual fundraising growth for an international health-related charity; helping several educational institutions better connect administrators, faculty, students, alumni and donors; growing brand awareness of a leading contract logistics provider through trade shows, video, internal communications, presentations, and digital media; and, managing multiple creative and technology partners to guide the development and implementation of an e-commerce solution for a consumer software company.
